Today I spent my lunch hour on a 5-mile hike around downtown Fort Worth…this is a favorite church architecture of mine. The First United Methodist Church. I’ve always wondered the meaning of one tower being taller than the other. Anybody?They don’t make fences like this anymore….Found a hidden, below street level amphitheater along my wandering route….A sun-cast sign shadow on the floor of Jake’s….I would hate to be the guy that has to repaint this way-cool crosswalk each year….Why don’t we build loggias and entries like this any more?I’m dizzy….Well, those aren’t plug nickels up there….An old showroom floor exposed to the elements….
