I got up this morning, put a couple eye drops in each eye, dressed for a Saturday, sat down with the iPhone and texted the FD. Within 1 minute of the event, her actual birthday anniversary, best wishes from a proud ‘pops” was sent.
It was a morning routine not much different than in 1980 except I had a much smaller girth then and I have a much better job now.
The FD was born on a Wednesday, 30 years ago today…at 6:57 a.m.. She has been Sunshine in my life ever since.
As yet another new page to my Blog is added, please know it’s a public way to journey in trying to be a better and smarter kind of guy. So the price of new Scottie dogs and puppies is going up. The newest celebrity in the dog world is a Scottie named Sadie. Step back Barney and Ms. Beasley. “Sit!” Sadie. You guys have nothing on my Mackie Queen of Scots.

I thought I had left the house this morning with plenty of time to drive to, park, walk in, and find a seat in church before the service started. Not this morning!

Just when I think my patience is well self-managed and my eye for photography is on the right track, a link or email gets sent that reaches out and smacks me in the nose saying ‘you have a long way to go buck-a-roo’. Mind you, neither Katrina nor the Haiti earthquake are laughing, to-be-taken-lightly catastrophies…but this game idea is funny. So lighten up, laugh at this and let it be my politically incorrect posting of the day/week/month/year.
This game suggestion reminds me of kegger softball, or the audience experience at the Rocky Horror Picture Show (although I’ve never had the “horror” of watching the show in a theatre).
This is also a classic example of the media ramming their agendas down the viewers throats to the gag point people start making jokes of it all…and speaking of throats, have a beverage of your choice in celebration of a Saints Super Bowl win….
