Parading Mardi Gras down Main Street

In the spirit of Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday, the City of Lake Dallas held their annual parade and party tonight and did it in small town Texas style. I was a part of the first half of the party – who knows how the second half went.

Everybody loves a parade…especially when you know many of the revelers walking down the street. But no beads were thrown my way – I wonder just what is up with that?

Lake Dallas Mayor Tony Marino, a.k.a. 'Tie-died Chef Hat Bead Tosser' guy

Everyone loves goofy Frank, including his grandson Mason
The Grand Marshalls this year and from the Spirit of Christmas, Sugene and Jim May having a blast from the best seat in the parade (right down the middle of the road)...tell me that the purple suit is rented Jim. Go ahead, tell me.
