POW – Picture(s) of the Week
While traveling to and from Austin last weekend, road personalities were discovered and photographed….
Hwy 183, Mid-cities DFW
I had no idea there were “Tex” Cadillacs still out there….
North of DFW Airport: Grapevine Texas
Even I know better than to drive an automobile of this color(s)….
Southbound IH35E: Lewisville Texas
OK, so it’s an Impala, but the year is…my guess is a ’63. Anyone?
Southbound IH35: Temple, Texas
Oh geez…what can I say except it is built directly on to a trailer frame. It might be a homemade RV, an ice fisherman in search of first dibs on a spot at a non-globally warmed lake, or perhaps this is nothing more than a modern-day nomad looking for his next address. Regardless, I got around him before the next overpass….
Southbound IH35E: north of Temple Texas
Even folks from Butler County Kansas need a how-to-pack-a-college-kid lesson that can improve aerodynamics, keep furniture in a stable and upright position, and lessen the need for an office chair leg propeller to get them on down the road….
Northbound IH35: north of Roundrock Texas while in stop-n-go traffic
I didn’t dare look at this lady when I passed her car….
Northbound IH35E: south of Waxahachie, Texas
Really now, is this ever a good sign?
Italy, Texas
“Starship Pegasus” has landed and is “now open” at the Italy exit off IH35…Roswell has nothing on us!
It is the little things in life we should be appreciating. They are much more fun and less stressful than getting worked up about the everyday tribulations of life.
Think about the happiness-rush that this feel-good moment offers up (we’ve all been there/done that at least once);
this is an excerpt taken from Neil Pasricha’s The Book of Awesome:

“Getting into a bed with clean sheets after shaving your legs” “…AWESOME!” (so I’ve been told)
