Exercise, the nature way

Went for a couple walks today…one this morning, then again this afternoon.

I want to say that's a Gray Heron in the tree...although I've never seen one take such a high perch before
Photography as easy as shooting ducks on a pond

The Halloween tree - probably a result of a lightning strike
Pine cones a plenty this afternoon
Another lightning strike topped this tree - same walk as the first tree seen...I quickened my pace to finish my adventure this afternoon
Found this feather - a red hawk perhaps? Anybody?
My luck did not run out (and lightning did not strike)

Had a grand time!
