Have truck, will move

It’s considered bad presentation to begin with an apology. But I will anyway. The post-a-day is lame today, I know. But I have what I think is a pretty doggone good excuse…. Deb worked the beejeebers out of this fat man today!

Let me explain: Deb’s employment comes to an end tomorrow. Her Miami-based company has sold and downsized significantly. But in so doing, Deb has this free-lance opportunity with the new company as well as with other contacts made over the years. All fine and dandy, right?

Wrong! (from my perspective this day)

Free-lancing means having capital. Capital is computers, monitors, desk chairs, software, printers, plotters, scanners, digitizers, file cabinets, rolling file buggies, file boxes, office supplies, and yes…eery models shaped like the fashion industry thinks our bodies should be. Her office in Dallas had all that, and more…and she bought stuff at the “going-out-of business” sale…

I own a truck…need I say more? (except, ‘oh my aching back’).

So I take PTO and all day we moved stuff out of the old office and moved it to her new office – anyone wanting to come visit us anytime soon, do so expecting to sleep on air mattresses and couches (we furnish the pillowcases). The guest bedroom has been occupied.

A family of nine has moved into our house. I don't think they're leaving anytime soon either

Even my picture-a-day today is lame….

Yes, those are handcuffs on the rearview mirror...ahhh Dallas how I've missed thee

Sorry guys, I’ll be better with the posting tomorrow.

  1. Best of luck to Deb in her new venture! And, you have got to get over the “pillowcases” thingy, seriously, it’s okay, Tim May! :o)
