Wonder what the morning conversation was..."whadda mean you didn't bring the donuts?"Fishing for fish so they can go fishing (why do I like to watch these guys do this...and end up saying the same thing over and over again?)With all the rain of late, the fishing pier has also become the wading pier. The hope and wishes of youth is bound to bring a smile to your face, right?Oh the lengths fisherman will go to just to catch a fish. Poles in a bucket on a submerged picnic table, pole on the bank, and of course in order to let the little boy in each of us (men) out, ya gotta have one in hand so you can wade out in waist deep water for the castBut they always get an enviable great show first thing in the morning....
These shots bring happy memories of sitting next to my father on the shore of a pond, cane fishing poles in hand. I don’t think I ever caught a fish, but I surely enjoyed the quiet time with him. As the oldest of 10, the times alone with Daddy were rare. Thank you for the memories.
Glad these brought you some specials memories. These guys bring a smile to my face everyday as they seemingly enjoy not only the fishing, but also each other’s company.
