It looks like this tree has been through a lot….This time of year the blooms can be found only on a few plants….Now where did I put my native plants book?Not all fish caught are kept or thrown back….

It’s getting to be standard, daily protocol for me: take a picture, transfer it to the laptop, get the flower/bug/tree/bird field guide out, try to identity what I saw.
