A foggy start to the morning…Funny how my tree friends show a whole new side of their character on a foggy winter morningNature’s Depth of Field….The fog is settling down into the tree lineMy friends, the PersimmonsA tree in search of a picnic…Crossing pathsThe blue Blue Heron friendNo, the Killdear is not stuck to the parking lot stripe….
I ran at White Rock Lake yesterday morning in the fog and it was beautiful. The lake and horizon melded into a wall of nothingness and the birds looked as if they were floating in infinity. It was warm and muggy, but dramatic nevertheless. Great photos!
Oh yeah Angela – a guy and his dog came running by me that morning and I snapped the picture (but I obviously decided against its use in the post). It was pretty cool to see them come and go so quickly in the fog…probably somewhat similar to your run and watching the birds. And thanks!
Love the simplicity of a foggy morning image.
It’s that suggestion of mystery and not quite seeing ‘the whole picture’ that intrigues, & leaves one guessing.
Thanks Victoria – this favorite place of mine has an endless personality…some mysterious, some surprising, some blatant, but never predictable (I guess that’s why I like it so)
Fabulous shots, Tim. There’s just nothing like a good fog for evocative photos.

Thanks Sid…and there were several more that didn’t make the blog. Fun morning with the camera and Mama Nature for sure!
