Look what I found after a 15 minute hike…and well worth the walk in a crisp 35° temperature despite leaving my gloves in the truck.Taking a panoramic look at this morning’s offering….The sunrise cuts through the trees…..These two have long reminded of unlikely, yet really good friends….The tranquility of stumps….With the sunrise to my right, I found something – not sure what – about this shot to my liking….The sunrise through the dense fog makes the tree stand look like fall color.Taking just a second to look behind me….
So many great shots here ~ so much feeling. The tranquility of stumps photo – amazing ~ looks like dancers in the reflection… and I also am very partial to sunsets and shadows~ Lovely ~ RL

thanks Katy – as is the case with me, sometimes you’re just lucky enough to be pointing your camera in the right direction at the right time

Great shots all. The first one is my favorite. Love that you got the angle to capture the reflection of the sun also. Thanks for sharing them. -Max-

Oh thanks Anne. I find myself seeking the tranquility and solitude of a good sunrise over the lake more and more these days. :)

Thank you so much Robyn. With the on-going drought in Texas, I’ve gotten to know all the stumps around the lake edge as the water has receded :)
