The day started with showers and cool weather. Sometimes you need to just slow down and reflect on the pace of the day….My deer (dear) buddies didn’t know it was me…cuze I got me a new truckBut then I heard them say ” oh! It’s you….again. Where you been lately?”Pelicans in flight…one day I will get close enough to focus on their eyes and/or beaks And then sometimes you just need a good fire in the fireplace to cap off the night. (that and a two-finger shot of Glenfiddich)
It was chilly! I ran a trail marathon just outside of Decatur today and ran in intermittent rain, lightning, and hail — and about 30 seconds of sun. Summer will be here soon enough . . .

I enjoyed your pics today. We had a bbq in Fort Worth and it was mighty chilly out there yesterday! That fire would have hit the spot:)
