These hometown twin Post Oak trees have stood for many decades, rooted long before any one highway came along. Now I fear the number of sunsets these two will see are numbered, not by natural causes, but by the IH35E expansion (from 10 lanes to some 16 lanes). I intend to visit with them often from here on out….
