A female Cardinal precariously perched on a flimsy wildflower stem yet singing her heart out to me this morning....You've seen this plant on this blog before: Hot Lips Salvia waiting for bees and butterflies and standing tall for me this morning....I'm not sure whether it's the simplicity of the photo, the color contrast, or the story that surely goes along with this abandoned chair that caught my attention this morning....OK, so maybe there is ever a slight hint of red somewhere in the sunrise this morning... (squint and you might see it)
