Harvesting apricots with an old harvest basket pole…still works like a champ!A more modern(?) way of harvesting apricots: shake a tree limb and try catching the falling fruit in a bed sheet (and in this case, the good one do land close to the tree)…FGs Lincoln sure didn’t care much for this method (no…he didn’t get “beaned”)Wheat harvest is well underway in north central Kansas….The pie cherries were very near ready…maybe another few days is all that’s needed (they were oh-my-gosh tart – notice the one missing…hmmmm, who could have done such a thing?)
